I am a freelance writer and native New Yorker now living in the Southwest. I majored in sociology and while working as a legal assistant I once considered a career in the criminal justice field. My work experience in the legal field would come in handy when I was called upon to write a legal column titled “The Legal Eye" for a major internet service provider. I would also find myself representing a family member in a civil case involving the discrimination of a family member within the school system, but my love of writing would prevail and I opted for a career in the healthcare industry instead. My interest in mental health, self help issues and self realization would become the primary focus of my writing. These were topics I knew well and topics my readers were most interested in. I feel privileged to be able to make a small impact on my reader's lives while sharing some of my own experiences. I believe life's journey feels less bumpy when we know we are not in it alone.
I am a firm believer that self growth is a never ending process and that by looking at ourselves as we truly are, and not as others may see us, our lives then become limitless and the possibilities endless.
