Hiroshi Doi, one of my Shihans who joined the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai in 1993 and created the style Gendai Reiki-ho says, "Reiki is vibration. Reiki is light, its true nature is pure light. Reiki-ho is the system how to use it, the way of utilizing universal energy. Reiki will lead you to what you will really be".

After having completed the highest level in Western Reiki and then moving on to complete the hgihest level in both Gendai Reiki-ho and Komyo Reiki Kai directly under Hiroshi Doi and Rev. Hyakuten Inamoto I found how the balance and harmony of Usui Reiki can flow into all areas of life.

I began using healing herbs while living in Canada, and after moving back to teh USA I found Usui Reiki flowing into my studies helped me to complet my Master Herbalist, for people, with high honors.  While I explain that I studied healing herbs for people and not animals, the spsiritual method that Mikao Usui founded, Usui Reiki Ryoho is for all living things and some of my clients leave wagging their tails.

The mention of tails opens to another way in which Japanese Reiki improved the quality of my life.  I began writing about a very unique animal which living in Canada and as the years passed more unusual characters joined to share adventures inthe Annan Woods.   You will not see on Amazon and in many gookstores the fantasy childrens' book What ? by Roberta R.
