This note is for those in practice with a general knowledge of how REIKI works. It will fortify how the hands are used as "light lenses" for the transmisson of the healing energy itself. The term "hot hands" is literally a metaphor explaining the linking of your mind to the power of REIKI. The best position for
the subject you are working on is prone and preferably relaxed. If you can employ a gurney with canvas or cloth that they are lying on, it will help the
transmission of the power to "pass through" the subject with minimal deflection. The subject is literally suspended (preference for a wood frame)

hands in the up position, hands in the down position, or hands facing each other. I suggest a small "cot chair" of the portable variety. These can be obtained at camping outlets. This bieng employed, it will be easier for you
to move your position if it becomes necessary in the middle of an "exam"
as you research the patient's aura for warm or cool zones. More on the focus
