My eclectic professional background encompasses a variety of careers ranging from banking to a university bursar, and finally marketing research. About eight years ago, I stepped back, examined my life, and asked myself what I wanted. I realized I didn’t want to continue to help corporations create ads to promote a new soda, assist companies in designing their latest websites, or help the pharmaceutical industry push another new pill down our throats.
Looking at the health problems of my parents and in-laws as well as the overall increase in chronic conditions today, I realized I wanted to assist people in achieving and maintaining their health. While various options came to mind, I chose becoming a health and fitness professional as the way to achieve my goal.
