You may be wondering what a chiropractor is doing in the business of helping other businesses reception rooms? Well, let me tell you my story (I promise I'll keep it brief)!
When I was a teenager, I had a dream that I was a chiropractor. It was one of those dreams that you wake up from and you know you must act on it. Since I had no idea what a chiropractor really even was, I went to the local chiropractor in my town to find out. As it ended up, I loved the philosophy and worked for that local chiropractor for 5 years until I went to chiropractic college, Life University in Marietta, Georgia where I graduated Summa Cum Laude.
After practicing with other chiropractors for 6 years, I decided to make a go out of my own practice. Being a mother of two young boys and a dedicated wife, owning my own business had its own struggles. The worst of those was the horrific day right after Christmas in 2007 when a SUV crashed through the wall of my office hitting me. I was forced to close my business for three months.
Any business forced to give up revenue for three months will work to do what they can to stay afloat, as we did, however, I was very limited because of my injuries. Our marketing efforts helped us reach pre-accident statistics relatively quickly, but we wanted to go beyond that. Out of shear wisdom, my husband made a video of all of my wonderful patients' testimonials (with their permission, of course.) What a hit!
The month I implemented that video, which played in my reception room so every patient could see, every stat I kept track of was at its high! Patients who I had never met before, and didn't even know if I would accept them as a client, were asking me how they could sign up for the program I offered as soon as I walked in the room to introduce myself. It was a chiropractor's dream come true to have people begging for their services.
Unfortunately, my injuries came back to haunt me. I couldn't quite handle the increasing patient lode with the injuries I sustained in that horrific accident a few months earlier. Therefore, I decided it was best for my body to close down my office.
Eventually I began working as a marketing manager for a chiropractor I knew. One of the marketing ideas we discussed was a DVD that he could play in his reception area. Once again, it was a big hit! The next week he asked me to produce a two hour video for him.
As I was producing this video with testimonials, educational material, product information, jokes, tips and riddles, I was having a blast! Then I realized how when my family went to a local restaurant we enjoyed, what we really enjoyed was sitting there watching the video of the jokes, riddles, and trivia. I knew I was on to something!
After going into several doctor's offices I realized they were running into issues by not utilizing their TV to the best of its advantage. That is when I developed my inexpensive DVD subscription service that is offered at http://captivateclients.com/captivate-clients-forever/blog. So here I am, a licensed chiropractor who knows the benefits of using your television as a true way to entertain your clients in ways that will make your clients love you!
In addition, I go above and beyond just the television by helping you pull your whole reception room together to make it one of relaxation and serenity for your clients who are searching for that in their lives.
I love the saying, "It is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all." by Alfred Lord Tennyson. You never know what you are capable of achieving unless to sink your heart into it. Once you try, you will never have to look back and wonder.
