Patrick Schwerdtfeger is the founder of Tactical Execution; a company that leverages progressive marketing strategies to build credibility and exposure for its clients. Patrick is an award winning speaker and has given hundreds of workshops and seminars across the United States and western Canada.
Patrick is the author of “Make Yourself Useful; Marketing in the 21st Century”. His podcasts have been downloaded over 20,000 times in 27 countries and his articles have been published on thousands of different websites. With a diverse background in marketing and finance, Patrick has a gift for explaining complicated subjects in simple language, making his presentations insightful and empowering.
Patrick was an instructor at the 2007 Internet Marketing Conference held in Stockholm, Sweden. He was one of just two people from the United States and joined speakers from 14 other countries at the conference. His workshop was entitled “Monetizing Trust; Leading Your Audience from Rapport to Revenue” and it received resoundingly positive feedback from the attendees.
Patrick is the organizer of the Entrepreneur & Small Business Academy, one of the top 50 entrepreneur clubs in the country. The Academy provides Bay Area entrepreneurs with a productive and supportive community where expertise and ideas are shared. Various events are held at least twice each month and all are welcome.
Patrick is member of the Lamorinda Toastmasters club. The club meets every Tuesday evening and has been a President’s Distinguished Club for the past 5 years. Patrick has competed in the annual International Speaking Competition and won first place at the club level, area level, division level and district level. He has been a club officer since July 2007.
Between 2001 and 2003, Patrick built an economic forecasting model called the Macro Economic Investment Capital Avaiability Platform (MEICAP). The model is driven by a dynamic population platform and calculates macro savings and spending patterns, yielding valuable insights to the future of stock valuations (through P/E ratios), interest rates and housing prices.
Unfortunately, the news isn’t very rosey. With the massive Baby Boomer generation approaching retirement, the pool of investment capital is expected to shrink, lowering P/E ratios and increasing interest rates. Although short-term fluctuations are inevitable, the long-term trend isn’t expected to change until 2027. After that, things start improving again.
Patrick is also a licensed Mortgage Broker (DRE #01424896), originating purchase and refinance mortgage loans through Windsor Capital Mortgage Corporation (DRE Broker #01050210), the third largest (2006) mortgage brokerage company in the country. He created the popular ‘Beyond the Rate’ podcast series that educates listeners about today’s complicated mortgage industry.
Patrick Schwerdtfeger was born in Vancouver, Canada, and received his Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Finance and Marketing from Carleton University in Ottawa. He began his career in commercial banking with the Bank of Montreal and became licensed as a Financial Advisor (Canada) in 1994. The following year, he was recruited as the Credit Manager for a large apparal manufacturer that does contract work for Guess and The Gap. The company also sold to the Promotional Products industry.
Patrick moved to California in 1998 and accepted a position as the Western Regional Sales Manager for two leading promotional products wholesalers. His territory included the 13 western states. He became self-employed in 2002 and brokered seller financing business notes to funding sources across the country. After obtaining his notary commission and real estate license, Patrick started a mobile notary business which led naturally to mortgage banking.
At the latest count, a Google search for “Patrick Schwerdtfeger” brings up about 77,000 listings but that changes daily.
A lot of people have extravagant plans for their personal ambitions or their brilliant business ideas. Yes, they see the potential. And they’ve got everything mapped out: step 1, step 2, step 3 and step 4. But the vast majority never get anywhere. Why? Because the hardest part of any venture is GETTING to step 1.
Step 1 is sustainability. It’s the point where you can actually focus on your idea full time. Once you get to that point, the process of building the business or continuing the effort becomes far less daunting, particularly because you already know at least one strategy that works - the strategy that got you to step 1. In other words, you have already managed to generate enough benefits to offset the costs.
There are countless strategies for getting something started. But at the end of the day, it all boils down to trial and error because most of the things you try will not work. Sorry but it’s true. As a general rule, everything you try will take LONGER and cost MORE than you originally expect. And that’s where we come in.
Tactical Execution is exclusively focused on providing specific tested guidance to ambitious people trying to get to step 1. Tactical Execution provides a variety of programs (and more are on the way) but they all strive to present tactical to-do items people can use immediately to improve results.
Whether it’s business marketing, stock market investing, real estate finance or personal congruence, Tactical Execution gives you a running start to success.
