After a childhood of abuse and neglect and two failed marriages Melody decided there had to be a better way.
Her counselors and self-help books agreed that it was her parent’s and husband’s fault. Applying this new knowledge widened the gulf between them. It didn’t take much of this before she KNEW their had to be a better way. With three kids to take care of, she needed to find it fast. Well, it took a dozen years to grasp how alike we really are, and more importantly, how to bridge the gap between us when all seems lost.
Melody first worked with adolescents and their families. Success required helping everyone see each other’s perspective. In private practice she was drawn to working with severely emotionally disturbed clients. Behind their seemingly irrational behavior she saw rational processes controlled by a viewpoint distorted by years of abuse.
Her model evolved from understanding the distortions her clients used to survive in a scary world. Melody's techniques transformed their lives and allowed many of them to return to the workplace for the first time in decades. The results are just as remarkable when applied to couples, families, and even in the workplace. What she loves about sharing these tools with “normal” people is the ripple effect it has on their children, spouses, parents, and co-workers.
Practicing what she preaches, Melody is now happily married and has five children enjoying the ripple effect in her life.

Every one of us goes through the strain of loosing connection and has to choose to leave or start over with someone new (believe me, I’ve tried this one more than once). Most people just end up in the same place with someone else.
Or you can just give up. I’ve seen so many people do this, it breaks my heart. We therapists call that ‘emotional divorce”. You might still be living together and legally married, but on an emotional level your lover has left the building.
Your third choice is to learn what it takes to make it great again.
Inside your lover’s bad moods or lack of sexual desire is the key to deep connection and hot romance. Learn to fulfill your partner’s hidden desires and you will discover the secret to deep intimacy. The real reasons for your disconnect lie hidden in those “moods”.
We call it Turning Landmines Into Goldmines.
Would you like to be happier and more sucessful?
What I do is help people and organizations become happier and more succesfful by giving them a better way to work together.
Clearly, our world suffers from an inability to manage conflict and communication in a way that results in deeper connection and more happiness.
For 20 years I have been helping people make sense of things that seemed senseless. Understanding how our automatic responses dictate our relationships and how to unlock our potential for connection and compassion changes everything.
Listen to what Suzy Osterer of New York has to say about the model:
"You explain so much and help understand how to own ourselves and our feelings. You explain in lay terms that regardless of who or what is to blame, even if it is ourselves, we all need to accept what has happened and move on without letting "it" immobilize us and not become the person we aspire to be. It helps to let go of negativity and intertia."

Here is a more from, Susy Osterer:
“I find myself reading the same passages over and over…I get very emotional when I read it. You seem to have an amazing understanding and insight into what makes us do what we do.”
And from another reader, Alex Pouille of Palm Springs, FL
“By bringing in real world examples, the pages really do fly by. It was amazing how many concepts she covers and is able to explain. While I was weary before starting (as if this was going to turn in to one of those Dr. Phil episodes where everyone gets hurt), by page 10 I was hooked. Sure we've been told a million times to think of others, but this book actually plots a specific way how. And the best part: even if your not an expert in the field, Brooke breaks the concepts down so that you can understand them: concepts that are still important and not childish in nature. I gave the book a chance this past weekend and walked blown away: I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.”
Profit from my over 20 years experience as a licensed professional counselor and marriage and family therapist. I have helped with some of the most wounded people I the world by discovering a simple way to explain why we do the things we do, and then showing them how to do things differently.
Now have the great life you’ve always known was possible. And the amazing thing is that you will start to feel better and better about yourself in the process.
