Kris Ruiter has been a member of the C.G.T.F. since 1999. He has been a golf teaching professional at the Gray Rocks Golf Resort, The Royal Harwood Golf & Country Club, Hawkesbury Golf & Curling Club, and currenetly at The Hammond Golf & Country Club in the Ottawa area. He has run several golf clinics and schools since turning pro.
Kris started playing golf before he was ten years old. He won several amateur events in the Montreal area while he was growing up. At Bishop's University, he captained both the golf and the basketball teams during the late nineties. The basketball team won a national championship in 1998.
Kris still plays many sports year round. they include golf, tennis, curling, basketball, hockey, and volleyball.
