Kathleen considered herself an average learner and did averagely well at school. In the early 1990's she signed up as an adult learner to study light, colour and sound healing as a means of finding some answers to her ailing health. Interestingly, compared to friends studying reflexology, aromatherapy etc, her ability to absorb and retain information was far greater than the friends despite all holding down full time jobs and studying in spare time. Why?
Kathleen believes she tapped into REAL LEARNING by using the tools of light, colour, sound and movement whereby the information she absorbed became 'her' and part of her 'life style', so that everything she studied became vitally important to the fabric of her every day existence. Kathleen today states clearly to learners that true learning isn't about academic qualifications, it's about whether or not the knowledge has become integrated into mind, body and spirit so that it becomes practical wisdom.
Kathleen is still studying and working full time. She is currently studying a PhD in Complementary Health. She is studying philosophy and the languages of love as an added interest. Kathleen studies and learns because it is fun, easy and most all enlightening when challenges appear in her life. She is often referred to as a walking encyclopaedia in the subjects she studies and integrated into her life. She truly lives and breathes the true meaning of 'educare' ... to bring out the knowledge from within.
Tell me and I’ll forget, Show me and I’ll remember, Involve me and I’ll understand.
Chinese Proverb
"In the harmony of sound, the harmony of Color, even the harmony of motion itself, its beauty is akin to that expression of the soul-self in the harmony of the mind, if used properly in relation to [the] body."
Edgar Cayce 3659-1
