Joanne Shaw is the owner and operator of Down2Earth Landscape Design. A graduate of Ryerson University in Landscape Design, Joanne has over 15 years experience in designing gardens in Durham Region and a decade in landscape and related business, both for her own clientele and established local nurseries.

Joanne’s career as a Landscape Designer started out of necessity! When she and her husband moved into their first house in Pickering in the snowy month of January, neither of them had any idea the extent of the gardens until the snow melted! Spring brought with it a landscaping challenge that she conquered with the utmost ease and enjoyment. Joanne recognized she had a passion for gardening and for helping others to create maximum curb appeal necessary to increasing the value of a home.

Joanne understands and interprets her clients’ needs and desires in order to transform their gardens into beautiful, green living spaces.
