Jan Janzen is a breast health activist. A best selling author she has just released her fourth book Breast Health Exposed: 21 Secrets Most Doctors Will Never Tell You About Your Breasts. The book has been endorsed by medical doctors, naturopathic doctors and is already receiving rave reviews from women who know there is a better way. Jan says a woman dying of breast cancer every 12 minutes is absolutely needless and backs this up with 21 medically proven secrets.
Jan is an entrepreneur of 30 years, a non-denominational minister and healer. Her provocative launch of The Breast Health Revolution, her blog talk radio show Breast Health Exposed and the launch of the 22 campaign to help women love their breasts to health are all designed to wake women up to the fact that healthy breasts don't get cancer. Breast health is the ONLY answer.
Part of the message of The Breast Health Revolution is let’s love our breasts. Rather than think they are too small, too big, too droopy, lopsided or any other negative emotion, I’m encouraging women to love their breasts. If we want them to stay with us till the end, they need to feel loved. That means more than just a cursory glance in the mirror or dragging ourselves to the doctor for a clinical breast exam once a year.
So wouldn’t it be healthier and more logical to have a day each month when we specifically spend some time with our breasts. The 22nd of each month is the 22 campaign when women all over the world will be encouraged to love their breasts. That may mean doing a lymphatic massage (a 5 minute massage that will get rid of any breast pain), a breast self exam and with the Breast Chek Kit, it is so much easier to do, to have a look at their breasts naked in the mirror and tell them how much they are loved or massage a beautiful cream specifically designed for their breasts into them while affirming positive healing thoughts.
On the 22nd of each month, each women participating in the 22 campaign will receive an email reminding them of the day, and will include a cartoon, a poem, a picture, video or something positive to encourage them to take a few minutes out of their day to bless their breasts.
This message of love, rather than judgment is designed to help women get in touch with this most precious part of their body and to let go of the harsh criticism and negative emotions many women feel about their breasts. In working with hundreds of clients who have been sexually abused, many negative emotions are stored in the breasts and this is one way I can help women to let go of those negative emotions and replace them with love, caring and tenderness.
