Hello, my name is Dusty, and welcome to your metaphysical journey. First off, I just wanted to say that I'm nobody special, just a middle aged soul who became obsessed with the study of pursuing higher consciousness and spirituality at a young age.
Although most of my formal education in the form of diplomas and degrees has come in the field of Information Technology, I have recently enrolled in a Doctorate degree program in Metaphysical Science. The intention wasn't based upon a decision to change careers necessarily, but rather a strong desire to learn about why things in this world are the way they are. Through this process I'm learning even more about metaphysical theology and philosophy.
Every since I was a teenager, I have had an uncanny interest in various metaphysical truths and philosophies. Some folks may call this new age, but I'm a firm believer that the new age today will be the science of tomorrow.
Over the last several years, my interest in this has grown to an obsession. I've always intuitively known that there was much more to this world than meets the eye. I've also had a share of my own experiences that I really can't explain away with logic or coincidence, and believe me, when it comes to my own experiences, I'm more skeptical than ever.
Along with trying to gain a theoretical and philosophical understanding of my spiritual pursuits, I also became deeply interested in meditation, as I feel it truly is the way. As time has went on, I've become much more successful with my meditations and can finally say that I feel a deep connection with all there is and am able to receive periodic spiritual insight through some of my sessions.
My intention behind creating this web site is to share everyone some views on various spiritual topics that I've learned through experience and study, but also more importantly to point out what type of news,research and resources are available on these topics today.(This will be coming along later, as I develop the web site further. Some people may disagree with some of the views I share, but these views are just my opinions and nothing more.
People are always free to believe what they want to believe, and for that matter should believe what they feel is right to them. Perhaps they have knowledge and experience in certain areas that's beyond my level of study and experience. I feel it's important to respect and honor all belief systems. There are many resources out there and this web site is only one of them.
With all of this being said, I'm still far from my destination of enlightenment when it comes to these topics. There is still much more growth ahead, and I have many more questions that I'm obsessed in finding the answers to. My hope is that as I continue my research, education and meditations, many more of these questions will also resolve themselves. Have a wonderful journey and please check back often as this is always going to be a work in progress.
