In the late 70's, Debbie was hired as the first woman in an all-male work group for a major airline, thereby helping to open doors for many more women in the airline industry. She eventually worked her way into a leadership position and enjoyed traveling extensively through Europe and Asia.
Debbie earned her master's degree in her forties while attending night school, working full time, and raising her daughter as a single parent. After recently leaving the airline job of thirty years, Debbie successfully started two businesses. She self-published her first novel in 2003 and in 2011 published Tapping into God: Experiencing the Spiritual Spectrum, an anthology about the diversity of religious and spiritual practices in the United States.
Debbie is a licensed practitioner at the Center for Spiritual Living in San Jose, providing spiritual counseling. She is exploring teaching different classes at the Center to enrich people's lives and facilitate personal transformation.
