Dean Pierno has been an entrepreneur for practically his entire adult life.
He began his music career as a self employed musician immediately after graduating high school in 1979.
In 1986 Dean graduated with honors from Grant MacEwan College in music performance.
His career as a freelance drummer, percussionist and bandleader has earned him performances all over Canada and the U.S. and dozens of recordings. He is considered one of the top drummers in his field.

In 2005 he traveled with an alumni cast of Up With People as a percussionist and drum circle facilitator performing at Expo in Japan and for the tsunami victims in Thailand.
