I combine two careers: writer and personal coach. Over the last decade I have written about health, wellbeing, psychology and parenting for most of the UK's biggest newspapers and magazines. I'm also a coach with practices in East Finchley and Old Street, central London. My approach is time-limited and problem-focused – helping clients make fundamental changes in their personal and professional life in the shortest possible time.
After four years' training in counselling and psychotherapy I trained as a cognitive-behavioural coach at the Centre for Coaching. I now help clients manage their stress and anxiety, increase their confidence, assertiveness and self-esteem, thrive at work and in their personal relationships, and figure out exactly what their goals are and how to achieve them.
All those years as a writer have given me a special insight into working in the creative industries, so I help clients boost their creativity and get better-paid, higher-quality work. And I've been a separated father for over a decade so I'm passionate about making the best of divorce or separation and raising happy, well-adjusted kids.
