Charlotte Howard is a Celebrity Radio Host, Salon Business Expert, Lifestyle Coach, Hair Artist, Author and Founder of The Hair Artist Association teaching about the power of Beauty!

She is also the President of Charlotte Howard Consulting,LLC. Born a native South Carolinian in 1979, Charlotte started becoming fascinated with beauty at the age of 13 in South Carolina. By 1999, Charlotte started to pursue her career in the beauty industry.

She was a very shy girl in high school and was teased quite a bit because her mom could not style hair like all the other moms out there. While establishing herself in the beauty industry she began to educate other beauty industry professionals on what she was self taught to do at the age of 13.

Charlotte’s defining moment was when she started working as a salon manager in a corporate owned salon but was being underpaid for her time. The company would have her travel and promise to pay bonuses she never received. She had very little family time and never had the opportunity for a real vacation. One day someone called out from work so Charlotte had to go cover that person’s work shift.

While at work Charlotte begin to think of ways for her to be able to spend more time with family. After discussing things with her family, she quit her corporate job and started her first company Charlotte Howard Consulting. Working for herself allowed her the ability to save more money on daycare and set her own work hours.

The flexibility was far better than working as a corporate salon manager. Having a flexible schedule enabled her the ability to organize her work around her life, instead of organizing her life around her work. She is the #1 Hair Coloring and Hair Cutting Hair Artist in South Carolina.

In addition to her educating beauty clients and salon professionals over the past 12 years, Charlotte is known for her award winning writing. Charlotte‘s portfolio of writing has been distributed by thousands of people all over the world, many found on popular sites like EzineArticles.com, SelfGrowth.com & Examiner.com.

In 2011, Charlotte was awarded the Information Marketing Genius Award by the Information Marketing Association. She then launched the Hair Artist Association to further pursue her passion for supporting hair artists and makeup artists after they started their own profitable salon business.

Over the past year HAA has attracted over 1500 members most of them are booth renters, spa owners, salon owners, salon managers, national directors, regional directors, distributors and manufacturers from all walks of life in the beauty industry.

Charlotte is a member of the Association Of Cosmetology Salon Professionals and currently working through their apprentice program to teach continued education classes to salon professionals. She is a Founding Premier Member of the Women Speaker Association helping women get seen and heard while pursuing their passion.
