Carol's passion is to inspire people to find joy through movement while gaining fitness and healing benefits. Her well-being approach to fitness addresses the total self: Body-Mind-Emotions-Spirit. Carol enthusiastically lives her philosphy.
Involved in the fitness industry since 1987, Carol has traveled worldwide training instructors at conferences and spas. She specializes in innovate east/west fusion workouts including movements from Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi and Nia (integration of dance, healing and martial arts). These programs are ideal for the aging population as they address flexibility, mobility, balance, posture, agility, strength and personal growth.
Carol received the 2002 Global Award as Aquatic Fitness Professional. Her Water Tai Chi, Water Yoga and Water Pilates DVDs are sold worldwide. Most recently Carol created the Anti Aging Method DVD. Geared to the baby boomers, it's a fun unique fusion of yoga, dance, Tai Chi and Pilates.
Her work has been featured in Oprah, Natural Health, Cooking Light, Women's Health, National Enquirer, Spa and Arthritis Today. Carol has authored articles in IDEA, American Fitness, Asia Fit, Australian Fitness Network, ACE and Fitness Swimmer. She has been a quoted expert in numerous newspapers.
In her hometown Palos Verdes, California Carol teaches at the Equinox and Spectrum Health Clubs. At the Canterbury Retirement Home she leads aquatic and Pilates/Yoga classes for the residents as well as the employees. As a volunteer at the House of Hope, her yoga teachings contribute to the well-being of women recovering from additions.
