Dr. Alexander Hiller is, as a serial entrepreneur, one of the big names in the international start-up scene. He studied at the TU Berlin, HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, and the Helsinki School of Economics. He then obtained his doctorate at the Chair of Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship at HHL in the field of innovative start-up financing under Prof. Dr. med. Pinkwart. Together with Dr. Justus von Grone, he founded wecuddle.com – one of the leading live social discovery platforms, later selling the company in 2015. In 2016, the company was re-purchased and expanded by the international brand hugmonstar.com. Shortly after launch, Hugmonstar has grown into one of the largest live social discovery platforms in Scandinavia. Their joint consulting firm, Hiller von Grone, has been advising select international clients in the areas of crowdfunding and ad planning since 2017.
