Huna is an indigenous approach to healing and spiritual development. It is thought to date back 35,000 years to the original teachings of the peoples of the earth. Elders have passed down this knowledge for at least 26 generations. Even though it is very ancient, its secret teachings hold great promise for us today. People who have taken this training say they found new joy, satisfaction and peace in their lives.
Huna is about empowerment, about increasing your spirituality, energy, and metaphysical healing powers. What if you could experience and connect physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually with a Higher Power that can empower you to bring into your life whatever you desire. Huna emphasises practical living and harmony with three levels of consciousness or selves - a low, middle, and higher self. Knowledge of the three selves, combined with the Hawaiian concept of Mana, is believed to heal body and mind and achieve life goals.
The 7 principals of Huna are:
IKE - The world is what you think it is.
KALA - There are no limits.
MAKIA - Energy flows where attention goes.
MANAWA - Now is the moment of power.
ALOHA - To love is to be happy with (someone or something).
MANA - All power comes from within.
PONO - Effectiveness is the measure of truth.
A Ohe Pau Ko Ike I Kou Halau - "Think not that all wisdom is in your school"
Now for our question of the day - Among the many teachings of Huna is the importance of finding your path and you will know you have found your true path when it resonates with your spirit. Your vocation is no longer work. It transcends a job or career. It is who you are. Our question is, how do you know if you have found your path?
