Your Dream Reservoir

As we all face the necessities of life, its no wonder that we live in a world where adapting to day to day challenges has become so commonplace; however,in order to truly flourish our hearts must stay open to keep our dreams alive! Could you imagine if the world functioned in an utterly mundane manner without the dreams that make most miracles come true? We would never have innovative inventions to improve our quality of life or pursue research for finding cures to so many diseases. When you invest in reconnecting with your dream reservoir, you empower yourself to passionately pursue your vision that allows for positive creation to occur! You will find everything you need in your dream reservoir. It’s all there for you.

Remember that there’s no time or room for doubting yourself when it comes to making your dreams come true. When you feel unsure about how to go about something, check in with your higher self and earnestly request an answer to your question: If I choose to do this i.e. “xyz” will it feed my dream or will it smother it to smithereens ? Just feel and see what answer you get. You may rely on your sense from this answer and rest assure that you’ll know what to do!

I personally find it is ironic that the same word ‘dream’ applies to both the sleep and waking states. Have you ever given that any thought? It seems as though a genuine correlation exists in that for both of these states the idea or wish has not been actualized. Yes, there is that nuance of meaning between the two definitions, though I think you get the point that I’m making. While awake, the dreams you have come from your deep source inspiration and then at night they inconspicuously make their way through to your conscious awareness upon awakening. The first step is in knowing that you already have the dream reservoir within you. It already exists! Although it’s not a physical place, it’s a place that your highest self can turn to at any time of day. It is there through the thick and thin of it all. Your dream reservoir is your soul’s deepest longing. It contains your cherished gems that leads you forward into what it is you want to do.

Honesty, Resiliency, Receptivity, Gratitude and Courage are some of the personal qualities that serve you best on your dream quest. Invite these in to accompany you as you tap into your own dream reservoir. It would be helpful for you to take a values inventory and do a self assessment. Let’s look at the first attribute honesty, and ask yourself, how happy is your heart? Is it creating and taking you on the path that’s right for you? Is your face smiling but your heart caught up in a frown? This is something you may wish to consider when turning to your dream reservoir. When you turn for guidance, you must be truthful and receptive to the answers that it provides for you. A word of advice is to take caution not to hold any preconceived agenda when consulting your dream reservoir. This is self sabotaging. In fact, you may consider it like the devil’s tool at play. By remaining unattached, you open up your hopes to higher visions, deeper connections that may inspire you beyond what you may have ever imagined. These hopes will move you into your dream reservoir as you allow your dream vision to unfold. You can use your emotional feedback loop as a way to inform you regarding how aligned you are with right intention and right action. If you feel really good about it, you are probably on the right track!

When I speak of resiliency and receptivity, they really go hand in hand. When you are able to demonstrate resiliency during challenging circumstances and shift into a positive mindset for dealing with hurdles, this increases your ability to stay receptive. Resiliency is being able to use your inner resources with awareness and perspective. Receptivity is staying open to other ideas that may come through in unexpected ways. It is also the willingness to try them as your dream reservoir guides you along.

Gratitude is just what we all know it to be…. the thankfulness that you give for what you have while being true to yourself on your journey. By focusing on the positive aspects and reframing the negative, you give yourself the chance to foster healthy, positive emotions of joy, contentment, serenity and gratitude.

Courage is the steadfast willingness to remain determined in spite of the way things may seem on the surface. Even if it outwardly seems as if you are not succeeding with your dreams, you can fortify yourself with courage because you know that your dreams will ripen at the right time in divine order. This is the knowing that comes to you when you consult with your dream reservoir.

The beauty of your dream reservoir is that it is constantly renewing resources for your discovery. It works on your behalf while during the evening time it reveals some of its truest, reliable guidance. It is continually dynamic and grows through a self-caring respect as you validate its function and trustworthy presence.

Your dream reservoir is where your hopes, knowledge, energy and vision all come together as one. It is the goodness of your dream as it becomes well formed and actualized.
