Lately, every where I look it seems that everyone, everywhere is being Awakened!
Mass Media has taken on the clarion call, in live phenomenons: Oprah and Eckhart Tolle are teaching millions to get in touch with the true self, and Dot-com organizations like Selfgrowth.com are springing up everywhere, as humanity shifts into a new level of consciousness.

For centuries we have been discouraged to think beyond the doctrines of church and state less we fall into the pit of hell, poverty, or jail. For many of us a highly developed intellect and reasoning power had silenced organic thought process, and for others, religious indoctrination had stilled the soft authentic voice of the divine in our heart and soul.

We have been brainwashed and indoctrinated; partly by faulty religious teachings that taught us to see ourselves as sinners, and the world as a bad place, essentially getting worse; our only hope of salvation? A better life in heaven after death. And, partly by societal values that present life as a rushing here and there in a mad chase after academic learning, material wealth and mindless pleasure, in an attempt to do better, feel better and to make ourselves better.

But it seems time's.
========================================
In all appearances, hidden ancient knowledge is again on the move, and old truths are being unearthed to be made new again. It's a life-changing concept! We’re not who we think we are. So, who are we really?

In 1986 a very painful incident shattered my child-formulated paradigm about life and I was forced kicking and screaming into this new reality; the realization that the divine is within us. Innocent idea about life and God, born in childhood’s romanticism crumbled, and unresolved emotions stuffed into the crevices of my cells exploded, as my ignorance spilled into the light of day. As tears flowed, beliefs held as truths demanded immediate attention as pain gave way to enlightenment. Over the years as consciousness dawned, and emotions subsided, I grew to realize that life is much more than having a job, a hobby, or making pretty things, it’s about taking the time to love, make friends, cultivate genius, nurturing talents, developing skills, and working tirelessly doing what I loved doing. I also learned that living is about small and large leaps of faith, accepting challenges and surrendering to a greater power to create my greatest self.

Unfortunately, far too many of us spend the greater part of our lives running towards, or away from one thing or another, never taking the time to stop for a moment to think calmly, before taking action. For many conscious thinking is the most exhausting of all labor, and the fear of change the hardest of all challenges. As a result, many spend precious time running from the glaring truth of conscious thought, instead of employing its good original common sense thinking to figure out the right direction we need to go and change the course of an unsuccessful lifestyle to a successful life.

What is a successful life?
==============================
Within each of us there is a great and successful story being written with the raw emotion of desire and the sweat, blood and tears of our personal experiences. Each day as we allow ourselves to feel our thoughts, and create our reality, it’s an opportunity to transform ourselves into successful Human Beings or see ourselves as failures. The lens through which we view life holds the potential of magically transform our life into a delightful experience or condemn us to the miserable depths of hell. In other-words, what we believe is the generator that will create the thoughts we think, the things we say, the decisions we make, and the life we live.
Our ability to think distinguishes us from the lower life forms, so every day we must allow ourselves to fall in love with thinking. We must learn to think great heart thoughts and act upon them consciously and consistently. We must allow our thought to generate another and another, then act upon them to create our unique destiny. Whatever we focus our thoughts on and act upon, at the level of heart, we become, whether we are aware of the thoughts that seeded the action or not.
To think is to create ourselves into beingness. But the truth is, we cannot become great or successful Beings, unless we slow down the hectic pace of information overload, and learn to think calmly, independently and see our way clearly.
Only when we know how to think consciously, we can manifest success in our personal life and make successful changes in our environment.

Societal pressures are causing parents to push children into the illusion of success and greatness, by encouraging them to strive for academic excellence and superficial livelihood, at the expense of authentic calling. During our lives we are expected to study specified curriculums at school and ingest copious amounts of books, while parents push themselves into physical exhaustion to meet the resulting financial obligations. Many still do not know that accumulating a brain-full of knowledge or information is not thinking, or that no amount of academic learning can create greatness or success. Whatever we do, the goal must always be to first do the internal work of developing the ability to think. We must take the time to ponder questions and answer the queries in our heart and mind, identify our priorities and define our limits, in order too change the course of our lives from mediocre to greatness.

So what is thought?
===================
Thought is consciousness. To think thoughtfully is to animate our flesh self with the light of consciousness. Thinking conscious thoughts is about making the unconsciousness of ourselves conscious. Every student knows the difference between “thinking studiously or cramming the night before an exam. They know that in order to get good grades they must apply themselves by putting great thought into the subject to create a masterpieces.
Thinking is the key that will unlock every problem and shine the light of understanding on every mystery. When we learn how to think deeply, at the level of heart and soul, we will be able to unlock the store house of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. In other words, we must acquire for ourselves the ability to reinterpret the essence of things we’ve experienced with our five senses, and reproduce them into our own image and likeness.
At this level thinking helps us grow from thoughtless individuals into thoughtful people who can turn smiles or a frown upside down, and change lives around.
Only then can we claim to be masters of thought and creators of our destinies.

A Dare:
=========
Today I dare you to surrender your body to be ruled by your mind
I dare you to surrender your mind to be dominated by your soul
And I dare you to give your soul to the guidance of your greatest self
You may not fall into line or get it right
But when you risk going against the grain
You will either fashion something brand new
Or re-interpret the divine lessons of failure.

A Quote to Remember:
=======================
“.... adversity carries within it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit...“
