Are you living your dream? Is your life full of magical moments, and do you jump out of bed excitedly each morning?
Or do you struggle to haul yourself out of bed and drag yourself to the job that you loathe, and get home, tired, stressed, and miserable?

Much of the literature in the self help industry asks you what you are passionate about. It is never money that inspires people to be happy, it is what the money can buy you- free time, plane tickets, a fast car, or whatever the money would represent to you if you had it.

When people say that they do not know what they are passionate about, it is a sign that they are out of touch with who they are. They have possibly spent much of their lives adapting to please other people, and genuinely have no idea who they are. For these people, it is important to try many different activities and hobbies until you find something that makes your heart sing, and then pursue the passion.

For others, it seems that they are "lucky". They have found their ideal job or career, and they love what they do and are constantly inspired. It is not so much luck, as a determination to follow their heart, and people often become well-known for what they do after years of studying and doing whatever it takes to be able to follow their heart's desire- be it with wildlife, children, food, astrology, medicine, or whatever.

To those who repeatedly say that they do not know what their passion is- are you frightened to step out of your comfort zone, and follow your intuition? Have you been ignoring your intuition because of fear of failure or fear of what others will say?

We all come here to expand and grow and are all given gifts and interests that are unique to us. Our gifts and interests give us an indication of what our life purpose is, and it is very rare that our life purpose is not related to what we are interested in.

Knowing this, think back over your life. Is there one subject that has always fascinated you? Is there a job that has always appealed to you? When you day dream, is there a recurrent theme, and if so, why are you not making that dream happen?

We all have at least one passion, and we all have one hundred convincing reasons why we cannot follow our dreams and find a career or job that we find fascinating and inspiring. Each one of those reasons is fear.

Stand out from the crowd and find a way to live the life you dream of- we are here for such a short time, make the most of it. You are worth it.
