Congratulations! You've decided to complete your Yoga Teacher Training in Goa. But now you’re wondering what to pack to practice yoga in Goa. Well, to help make life easier for you on your yoga travels, we’ve noted some of the essentials that you will need to pack to practice yoga in Goa while you complete your Yoga Teacher Training.

First things first, it is NOT essential to pack a yoga mat, we provide mats for you at the start of your course but if you’d like to bring your own mat on your yoga travels go right ahead! We will also provide you with stationary to take notes during class, so you don't have to worry about that either.

The first thing you’ll need to pack to practice yoga in Goa is your yoga clothes, and plenty of them. It can get quite sweaty during your Yoga Teacher Training in Goa so it’s always nice to have a selection of clean clothes to change into. As a recommendation we'd say pack at least three pairs of yoga leggings or pants, and a couple of pairs of shorts. This way you’ll be able to make it through a week of your Yoga Teacher Training in Goa without having to do a wash. Next you’ll want to pack a selection of tops to practice yoga in; as a suggestion we'd say four to six. Ladies, you'll also want a selection of sports bras!

We’d suggest packing one warm jumper or hoody to practice yoga in Goa as it can get quite chilly during morning practice depending on what time of year you visit Goa. It is also highly recommended to pack a pair of flip flops or sandals that you can slip on and off with ease - remember you’ll be right on the beach so you don't want to be faffing with laces and socks after every class!

You will also want to pack a white outfit to wear upon completion of your Yoga Teacher Training in Goa. It's tradition for everyone to wear white for the graduation ceremony so find something you feel comfortable and good in. Although, we should add that it’s really easy to find a white outfit here in Goa, so don’t worry if you don’t have anything suitable to pack.

It’s also possible that you’ll want to pack some non-yoga clothes to wear on your days off to go exploring in on your yoga travels, or an outfit to venture out in the evenings with your friends for drinks and dinner.

And there you have it – you're all packed to practice yoga in Goa. We could go on, but really that’s the bare minimum you'll need for your Yoga Teacher Training in Goa. Oh, and there's one more thing – and this really is essential – bring a good attitude, an open mind, and a willingness to learn and grow and you can't go wrong.

Happy packing! And we wish you every luck on your yoga travels.
