A funny thing happened while I was getting ready for class #5 in my 8-week Prosperity Principles for Wealthy Living class - the topic of which is: The Wheel of Fortune. Sometimes called a treasure map or a vision board, it is a pictorial representation of what we would like to bring into our lives. I have seen amazing things happen when one puts their heart's desire into this format. One gal - with an intense singleness of purpose - made her entire wheel about her wedding. She had pictures of flowers, dresses, bridesmaids, grooms, altars, rings etc. - all on a pretty pink poster board (the color of love). She met her husband at a party 2 months later, they married 1 year later and are due any day now for their first child.

So, knowing this stuff works, why was I so surprised to find an old wheel - which I dug up to show my class - in which everything on it had come true? A few semesters back, I had wanted to participate with the class, so on the day we were cutting and pasting, I snipped a few pictures and glued them down. As recommended, I had included a few images of money, so that the items came without debt. And, sure enough, each item on this wheel had come to me for free. There was a digital camera on there. Last July, before my trip to Guatemala, I borrowed my cousin's camera. When I tried to return it, she insisted that I keep it in exchange for a lifetime of pictures of my infant son. (like she wasn't going to get them anyway! Jeeeezz) Then there was a rather plain wooden jewelry box on my wheel. With earrings scattered about my bedroom, I had long needed this item. My friend, Vikki, showed up one day in August with an exquisite baby blue leather jewelry box. She claimed, "I had been thinking about it for some time - when I stumbled up the perfect one." Then there was an ipod speaker also on my wheel. My friend, Stephanie, calls me up in December to say she's gotten a new ipod that doesn't work with her old speakers - would I like them? Yes, I would, I say. (As a side note - none of these people give me gifts on any regular basis.)

I had forgotten that I had requested these indulgences - but the Universe had not forgotten. And they were delivered to my doorstep, free of charge, even better than I had pictured and infused with love.

Of course, you don't need a Wheel of Fortune in order to visualize your good. You are always asking and the Universe is always answering. Some people are very good daydreamers and the more vivid they can make their dreams, the more likely they will manifest. But the wheel helps those of us who are not so inclined to get clear about what we want and what it looks like. So grab yourself a poster board, some of your favorite images, a glue stick and watch the magic happen!
