Use Case does have a limitation apart from its uses .Use Case , does not flow well to easily capture the requirements of a non-interacting system (such as algorithm or mathematical demands) or non-functional requirements (such as platform, performance, calendar, or critical elements for safety) appropriate.

The use of this Use case Diagram for clarity purpose is not at all safe, Clarity depends on the skill of the author. There is a learning curve in the interpretation of the use cases involved true for end users and developers. Since there is no standard definition of use cases each group must evolve gradually its own interpretation. Some of the relationships that extend like, are not unique in design and can be difficult to understand for those affected.

Developers defined , use case is often difficult to determine the level of the user interface (UI) based on a use case that must be integrated. When applying, theory holds that the UI will not be considered in use cases, it may be difficult to ignore this aspect of the design, because it can be difficult to visualize.

Use cases may be overstated. In Object Oriented Programming the concept of use cases are specified clearly. For some authors, the application, however, believes that the use of pre-and post-conditions for all scenarios of a use case ,which is a position limit test design. If the post conditions of a use case are so generally valid for all possible application scenarios, they are not likely to be useful as a basis for defining the expected behavior in the test design.

For example, failed attempt to withdraw money from an ATM is not the same as a successful retirement: If the post-conditions that reflect, to distinguish whether post conditions do not, they can 't be used for the expected behavior of the tests which are specified . Another perspective is pre-and post-conditions which are more suitable for designing test based on the specification of the model.
