True religion, is there one? Sure, the Bible provides some kind of a framework to build upon, but that’s just it! To build upon!
The Old Testament was based on a falsehood about the Universal Father as being a jealous God and we should worship him (out-of-fear). The New Testament focuses on Jesus, but it was written by man’s interpretation. After all, Jesus didn’t write it.
The Book of Urantia provides a detailed account of Jesus’ life on Earth and provides a glimpse on how most of the books in the New Testament on main’s recollection, on how man interpret or heard from a second source about what took place when Jesus was here with us.
There’s a lot of detail about how Jesus’ disciplines did not truly understand that everyone is equal in the eyes of our Universal Father. His disciples still maintain their prejudices against anyone who wasn’t part of Jewish faith and also treated women as second-class citizens. Jesus ha a woman’s corps, who served as nurses and ministered to the sick. His disciples, if making decisions on their own, would have this acceptance as everyone being equal. Oddly, there were a few individuals, not disciples, who truly understood the heart of Jesus as the Son of Man and the Son of God.
Ironically, it wasn’t until the Disciples saw Jesus after his death, when they truly accepted him as the Son of God!
