People always motivate and say you to be positive in life because this can give you the hope to progress in life. Your subconscious mind is like a data bank that stores all your past experiences, beliefs, your skills, memories (good or bad both), skills, etc. Everything you have done in your life or seen or thought about is stored in your subconscious mind.
