“To be average scares the hell out of me.”

I saw this quote a few days ago in a book I was reading and I was pretty touched by it. I can personally tell you that I have moments when I am scared of being only an average person with a mediocre life, doing nothing spectacular here on earth. I know now that this will never happen but there are those few moments when your mind goes to places that you thought are long gone.

I used to have doubts about what I am really capable of doing but not anymore. I can tell you that I came to know myself pretty well and I came to discover a side of me that I didn’t know it was there. I really believe that I can do whatever I want and that I have great potential and all things are possible for those who dare to dream, for those who dare to believe. For those who know what they want and why they want it. I am not really a big fan of Donald Trump but I can say that I agree with him with this one.:” If you are going to think anyway, why not think big?” This is so true.

To many people out there believe that they are worthless, that they can’t do nothing right. To many people are afraid of failures, afraid of what those around them might think or say about their decisions, about their ambitions and this is one of the reasons they choose to keep on living a life that has no value for them or for those around them. They are afraid to go out of their comfort zone. I can tell you that I really believe that there is not even a single person on this planet that is not precious in one way or another. We all have talents, we all have gifts. Some of us discover our talents at an early age and some of us have to look deep for them, but eventually we will find them.

I refuse to accept that the universe is playing dice and that some of us are starving because that is exactly what was intended and others have so much that they can feed a whole country also because that is exactly how it was intended. It is up to us. We are the only ones that can make us happy or unhappy and if we loose our faith, if we really think that life has no meaning, if we really believe that there is no such thing as a purpose and that life is a curse, than that is exactly what we will experience, that is exactly what we will receive.

It is up to us. If we choose to listen to that inner voice inside of us, if we choose to believe that there is a meaning, there is a reason and that reason is for us to make a difference, to leave the earth better than it was we arrived, than we will look for ways to do just that. We will look for ways to live on purpose and to share with the world our talents and our gifts. We will live our life just how it was intended for us, and by doing this we will find our happiness, we will feel fulfilled and at peace with ourselves and the world around us. If we are happy, those around us will also be happy.

Did it ever happen to you to have a horrible day, go home and project all your anger and frustration on those around you? What did it happen then? They started acting in a negative way toward you too. You see, what you give is what you receive and what you send out there in the universe comes right back at you. If you send love, you will receive more love. If you send kind thoughts, pure thoughts, happy thoughts, you will receive more thoughts of the kind. It’s that simple. You can’t plant tomatoes and expect to receive potatoes in return. The soil will give you that which you planted. It works the same in all areas of life. There is no other possible way.

So, going back to our quote. I will write this down and put it somewhere where I can see it everyday as a reminder of what might happen if I don’t do that which I am supposed to and I recommend you do the same. Remember, out of sight out of mind. We only have one life to live, just one. Why not make it spectacular? Why not work toward achieving our goals and dreams? Why not living on purpose? Way too many people are wasting their lives not knowing where to go and what to do. Not knowing how to really live their lives. Don’t let that be you.
