After completing a certain task, I will either strike it off on the sticky note or I will simply throw it away. The advantage of being able to see it visually is that you tend to be more organized. It certainly is way better than having to memorize the tasks in your head. After all, you may end up forgetting some of the tasks, and that could spell trouble for you.

Decide Which Tasks Need To Be Completed Urgently

The next step you need to take note of while managing your time is to decide which of the tasks need to be completed first. Now I have nothing against multitasking. That seems like a pretty good skill. However, there may be times when through your multitasking, you could end up pretty messed up. Not only that, but your multitasking could also the quality of the work you produce for each task. I dare say that nothing beats giving 100% of your attention span to a specific task. There may be cases where multitasking will simply result in you increasing your workload rather than getting things done.

Stop Procrastinating

Procrastination is your biggest enemy, especially when it comes to managing your time. When you set your mind to completing a task, make sure you give it all of your attention, not part of it. You should also remove all forms of distractions, so that can get the job done. Usually, procrastination takes place when you get distracted, so it is best to stay focused on the task ahead. Yes, you can take breaks once in a while, but do not get carried away.
