Accurate Thinking

"Your most beneficial power available.

You have complete control over your thoughts. The accurate thinker separates facts into two classes: important and unimportant. Spend your time focusing on the most important and reap extraordinary results." ~Napoleon Hill

What I like most about the above statement is the part about “focusing on the most important” thoughts.

Because even though it’s true that we (in theory) have complete control over our thoughts, keeping them all squeaky clean is a tall order! Wouldn’t you agree?

But Napoleon gives us a subtle and profound hint

Don’t stress about thinking the ridiculous, negative, good-for-nothing thoughts you may find rattling around in your head sometimes. It happens to everyone.

Let them go.

And move on to the ones that you know will actually take you where you want to go!

♥ Think about what matters most to you.

♥ Think about what you want.

♥ Think about who you must be in order to live the life of your dreams.

♥ Think about what you can do right now to get one step closer to your ideal reality.

Think Love

When you are checking in with yourself, which is worth doing frequently throughout the day, ask yourself this:

“Am I thinking in a Loving way?”

If you are, yippee!! Keep moving along in that direction.

If not, ask yourself, “How can I think about this in a more Loving way?”

As the insightful Tony Robbins says, asking better questions gets us better answers.

If we aren’t being kind to ourselves, we aren’t going to be able to be kind to others.

Becoming an accurate thinker is a crucial step in becoming your best self. You must commit to spending your time on thoughts that add value to your life and enhance how you interact with those around you.

Decide to run your thoughts through “The Love Filter©” regularly.

The ones that don’t make the grade get the boot.

Practice this for the next few days and see how you feel.

Are you behaving differently? Are you finding more opportunities to make progress on your goals?

Hopefully you’ll get hooked on the positive results you get when you spend your time focusing on the important thoughts.
