Today I am going to describe the meaning of word frugal. In addition, how people can live frugally? However, most important thing is, is living frugal equivalent to being poor or just using the resources in an economical way?
People in different part of the world live frugally, yet people call them poor. Why is it, that people consider frugal people as misers?
Moreover, what are the tips that can make frugal people more economical?
Frugal in Garden:
We can be frugal in garden by recycling our own products. For example, if you have bought some apples from the market and are going to eat them at home, then you can save their seeds. You can then sow these seeds in to your garden and in a few years, you will have an orchard of your own. But this is a time consuming process, as apple tree takes time to grow. On the other hand, vegetables and plants take less time to grow. For example, Raddish can grow in 1 week to its full strength and a carrot can grow in two weeks (correct me if I am wrong).
Frugal at shopping:
You can be economical at shopping by buying bulk products at one time. As, prices are very sensitive these days take example of petrol prices that keep on increasing after some time. So, if you really want to be frugal. You can be, by using your brain and storeroom in the most productive way you can.
Frugal at home:
At home, many things, like refrigerator, computer system, plumbing work, and much more things go bad after some time. To fix them, a person has two options, either to call a service man or do that work himself. Now, because of availability of internet, people can watch youtube and fix their things by themselves. And that’s what being frugal is all about. To be economical, and save where you can save.
Frugal at roads:
On roads, if you go by bus or metro, then you can save by walking the distance to the next stop if you live between to junctions. In most cases, there are different places from where people buy things. Therefore, you can make a list and only go to those places to buy all things at once. That will not only save you money but also time & tiredness.
In the end, being frugal is not only limited to the middle and poor class. Anyone who uses his brain can be frugal. In addition, those who call frugal people misers. People should not pay them heed.
