“Kill your negative thoughts before the thoughts will kill you”. The statement is more generic. Basically negative thoughts are just like the virus if you can’t kill it in its initial stage, then the thoughts in the course of time will kill you for sure.

Many tries are there to define thoughts and the way it works. Few have also tried to explain the way it comes into picture and affects human beings. But here the motto is different. Here some practical examples can help us to understand the way the negative thoughts kill.

Usually 50k to 70k thoughts come to one’s mind per day. Basically thoughts are two types of thoughts. Positive thoughts and negative thoughts. Positive thoughts are the thoughts which helps us to grow from the level where we are to a higher level of spirituality (More here http://timesofindia.speakingtree.in/public/spiritual-blogs/s eekers/self-improvement/the-wise-practice-of-spirituality). But negative thoughts are really harmful for human beings. If we can’t kill the thought, then gradually it’ll grow inside us. At its early stage it’ll make us mentally ill which in real forces us to think and consider the things negatively. When the situation continues for a certain period of time, it helps us to fight or quarrel with others on small-small things based on negative thoughts. Finally it spoils our social relation and makes us alone.

One practical example will be helpful here to understand it better.

Everyone has family, friends both in personal and professional life and some other relatives (may be few more known faces). Usually it happens, we have some misunderstanding with others. So in many times if that person is discussing something with others in front of us with a voice which is not audible to us, then we suspect he/she might be discussing something about us and obviously something negative about us. Sometimes we suspect so much that we shout at the person on the moment they are discussing. But in real most of the time they don’t discuss about us. Only our negative thoughts force us to think so. Suppose they are discussing the negative things about us. If so then it might affect our personal and professional lives a little but obviously much less than the negative thoughts that we have. Rather it’ll kill our relationship with others.

Mostly my next blog will say the way to get rid of the negative thoughts.
Expecting some Psychologists' view here.
