The Ten Commandments, in whatever form, are a good controlling factor for the suggested behavior of man, but do they really hold water when it comes right down to it? Another reality check is that no one lives, lived, or will live without breaking all ten commandments, and on a consistent basis. Mission impossible! The root of that absurdity itself: the Ten Commandments—and the variations that exist in all forms of worship and adoration, and where these notions came from, is a concept of utter confusion for the vast majority of humankind. So-called ‘faith’ is not an answer. Why is it deemed necessary to even consider the need for a redeeming and illusory factor in order to understand what life is about?
Where did the Torah come from and how was it delivered? Who wrote the Koran and where did it come from? What about the New Testament? The Bhagavad Gita? All of these antiquated notions have done nothing but cause unbelievable grief and discomfort for everyone on the planet since they were first espoused. Karma? God, or gods, wherever they may have possibly come from, are also in a very confused state of diversity and, therefore, inhibit the ability to function as a Oneness. The ‘Word’ is always and has always been subject to personal interpretation, and it is necessary to reinterpret that meaning for oneself and should not be accepted as an ipso facto ‘truth’ from someone or group of people that assume command of beings.
This leads to the questions of where do we, humankind, come from and how did we get here? My view is that with all the different races and cultures, the planet Earth had to have been ‘seeded’ at some point in time, and with all the artifacts and archaeological findings, too much speculation arises as to whether or not one culture or race is more relevant to this seeding than another. We are all part of God’s ‘Coney Island of the Mind.’ Break free of morass of self-imposed mediocrity; break free of all the confusing wisdom and philosophy and just live your life according to your own dictates, without causing harm to anyone. Everything else is complete naiveté, including your own underdeveloped ego. THERE IS NO SALVATION EXCEPT FOR WHAT IS WITHIN.
My way of being is not ‘out there.’ It is ‘in here’ and without recourse to the notions of anyone else. I am my own Garden of Eden, and it is neither good, bad, nor indifferent. Afterlife? What afterlife? If in fact there is an afterlife, I will find that out when I am ‘there’ and not subject to ravings of such possibility while I am ‘here.’
