Anywhere you go, you would most definitely visit the zoo and some amusement park or water park, other than the famous landmarks and local sightseeing hotspots. But traveling and visiting all of these spots will definitely be time-consuming. But what if all of these attractions were together. A water park, an amusement park, and a zoo all together, plus more.

That is where Sunway Lagoon comes in. The Sunway Lagoon is located in Selangor, Malaysia. Owned by the Sunway groups, it houses the Amusement Park, the Water Park, the Scream Park, the Extreme Park, the Wildlife Park, and the Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon. If its anything, Sunway Lagoon is most definitely a mini-world of fun and thrill. But enough with the introductions lets skip ahead to what you most definitely need to know about Sunway Lagoon and its six realms.

Getting the tickets:

Sunway Lagoon in Kuala Lumpur is open from 10 AM to 6 PM, all days of the week. The biggest benefit of Sunway Lagoon is the fact that you don’t need to pay individually for each of the parks. You buy one ticket and you get to enjoy all of the six parks and their 90 attractions (minus four pay per ride activities: the Bungy Jump, the G Force X, Scuba Diving and the Go Kart).

As of 2018, the ticket cost for adults is RM 190 (13 years and above); RM 160 for children (12 years and below) and senior citizens (60 years and above). But once purchases the tickets cannot be refunded or canceled.

The Pay Per Ride Activities

The pay per ride activities each have different costs. They are:

1. The Bungy Jump, which costs RM 138 for a single jump
2. The G Force X, which costs RM 68 for a single entry and an extra RM 25 for a DVD
3. The Go Kart single costs you RM 24 and the Go-Kart double costs you RM 30
4. The Scuba Diving costs you RM 85 for a single entry

The rides are also available in combos. But tickets cannot be canceled or refunded.

You can store your belongings in the available rental lockers and if you don’t want to carry any cash on you, you could opt for the alte
ative payment method: The Cash Wrist Band. You can deposit money in the wrist band and use it for every form of purchase in all six parks.

Waters of Africa

The Sunway Lagoon in Kuala Lumpur is a water park, the Waters of Africa, is the most famous part. It houses the infamous Waters of Africa playground, the Congo Challenge water slide and Malaysia’s first surf simulator (the Wave Rider). It also has a kid-centered zone called Little Zimbabwe, a child-friendly water playground with an African like a village, complete with huts and Masai tribesmen guarding the entrance.

Lynton V. Harris Scream Park

It is a horror-themed park with various theatres, attractions, and activities designed to turn your face pale. The list of attractions include the Vampire based theatre, Pontianak Theatre of Fear, and a ghost house, Rumah Hantu in 3DX, the Horrorwood Studios exhibit, the Night of the Museum exhibit, the World War Z attraction, the Prison Break exhibit, Terminator X: A Laser Battle for Salvation attraction and the most recent addition, the Ghostbusters Adventure Live.

Amusement Park

The amusement park consists of the Wild West and World of Adventure zones. The most famous attractions are the 360-degree rotation pirate ship (Pirate’s Revenge), the steep hill water log drop (Niagra Falls Flume Ride) and an Indiana Jones adventure attraction (Lost City of Gold).

Extreme Park

The extreme park houses loads of thrill seeker bounty, especially Malaysia’s first bungee jump and Malaysia’s longest flying fox ride.

Wildlife Park

The Wildlife Park houses more tha
150 different species of animals, reptiles, and birds. It is Malaysia’s first interactive wildlife display with educational attractions and live animal shows.

Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon
