While you finalise on an architect, he/she has a major role to play in planning for your house building where they are around you right from making plans on paper till the execution by the builders and the technicians. Here are the steps that they follow to ensure that you get the best house to live in that lasts for long. If you intend to have a house of your own, the first thing that would come to your mind would be the plan and the design for the construction. There are various aspects to it such as the area on which the house would be constructed, the electrical connection, water supply, sanitation, etc. that needs consideration. An architect is the right person who would consider all such aspects and accordingly implement them in the drafts and designs that make for you. If you are one of those who have financial constraints and cannot afford an architect when you already have to spend money on building the house, hiring an architect is something that good for the long run and the longevity of your home. While you finalise on an architect, he/she has a major role to play in planning for your house building where they are around you right from making plans on paper till the execution by the builders and the technicians. Here are the steps that they follow to ensure that you get the best house to live in that lasts for long.
  • Preliminary design – An architect wouldn’t simply make plans without analysing the site on which the building is to be erected. This analysis later comes on paper where there are rough sketches made by keeping in mind the design of the building that would be rightly suited on the site, the budget that you have for the building and the ideas that you have for your dream house. If you have ideas for setting up a garden in front of your house, you should convey it accordingly so that the architect would help you with executing all that you have in mind along with their plans. You would receive several designs and plans, and it is important to come to a conclusion to save up on time and go ahead with the plans at the soonest time possible.
  • Developing the final design – While the designs are finalised, the architect along with the team would come up with scale drawings that include the floor plans that show the exact location of all that you want for the house. Modern software has made things easy where it would virtually build the home for you serving as a replica on the screen.
  • Creates the final drawings for the builders – While all of the designs and details are finalised for your house, the next step would be to hand over the blueprints to your builder who would ensure that the plans are executed and put to reality. While it is easy for a person to make a drawing on paper, architects analyse all aspects of it like how can each of the aspect be constructed and whether the design is legitimate for the builders. They make the work very easy for the builders where simply using construction material and experienced technicians and mason, one can get the house as expected.
  • Ensures their presence till the end – Architects cannot leave you midway especially when they have finished playing their part. Most architects in their contract ensure the fact that they would be associated with you until the building is constructed. They may be times when there are modifications required for the construction plans and at this time does the architect come to the picture and make changes wherever required.
