Are you aware of the fact that sexual sin (deviance) affects a startling portion of our population, with most of this being addiction to pornography, found in huge proportions on the internet? The American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), actually calls porn addiction and the compulsive behaviors that stem from it, as a "disease". When it comes to men and porn addiction, this is what is stated in Psychology Today Magazine, of men studied in a survey: "82% self-reported as regular viewers of pornography". The study also showed that the average age when boys began viewing/using pornography was at 13-years old

In an article titled: "How Many Women are Hooked on Porn? 10 Stats that May Shock You" (Covenant Eyes online Christian magazine), it is stated "About 1 in 5 women (18%) use the Internet for sexual purposes habitually—every week". It says regarding another area of sexual deviance that likely branches off of porn viewing among women is stated thusly: "...87% say they feel or have felt “out of control” when it comes to the matter of masturbation; 70% say the same about sexual fantasies.". This article was written in year 2013, which makes one wonder how much this problem has grown, up to this year of 2021. Another startling statistic stated by Psychology Today Magazine is, quote: "...well over 90 billion videos are viewed daily by more than 64 million visitors, 26 percent of them female."

So is pornography that is proven to cause broken marriages in other studies, just something many people do? Not being harmful to a child's sexual development? Is it actually an acceptable way of expressing one's self, as 49 percent of teen girls state in yet another study? If you believe in Biblical principles designed to prevent believers from causing harm to their selves, the answer to this question is a resounding NO! In 1 Corinthians 6:18, it says: "Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.". Also, sexual lust of the eyes is committing adultery within the heart, according to Jesus, recorded in - Matthew 5:28. Please hear my two audios, in which I give my own testimony regarding this area I experienced, which we Christians believe is a "satanic stronghold" (2 Corinthians 10:4).LINKS FOLLOW BELOW - - -

Author's Bio:

I am a graduate of Liberty University (1996) for completion of theological studies. I do however, consider myself a "Bapticostal" (a Baptist also having Pentecostal beliefs). Bible studies are one of my most-covered book-subjects. I am however, careful to only address those subjects I believe God has given me correct revelation on. I was a Christian Youth Minister, beginning in the 1980s for approximately 20 years. During and between youth ministries I served in other church capacities as well, including interim pastoring. I was also a guest speaker to churches, who invited me to present important Bible teachings to their evangelical congregations, during those same years. I am a redeemed man, who has received salvation by acceptance of Jesus Christ and what he did for me in shedding his blood and dying for me on the cross, and in his resurrection from the dead, giving me the promise of eternal life, purely by grace (not due to anything I have done, other than to accept it freely).
