Acne is a skin condition which affects at least half of the teenagers on the planet. It affects the skin on their face as it is most susceptible to allergens and other irritating factors of the everyday surrounding. In any case, this could be quite traumatic and rather shocking for a young person as it changes the way they look dramatically. A lot of people find it repulsive as the condition can get quite serious especially if not treated on time. The good news is that there is no need for you to visit the doctor or to spend thousands of dollars on medicaments, unless you want to, of course. These all natural and home-based acne treatments could easily be undertaken in any home, without having to spend more than a few dollars.

Egg whites are, believe it or not, one of the most effective solutions when it comes to natural acne treatments. You won’t have to eat them, of course – you have to apply them to your face after you’ve prepared a mask out of them. They are intended to reduce the oil as well as to minimize the pores by drawing out the impurities in your face. In order to do this, you have to separate the egg whites from the yolk and apply them using a cotton ball. You are quickly going to feel them tightening. Let them sit on your face for about 10 minutes to a maximum of an hour.

Ice cubes and lemon juice are the way to go. These are two different acne treatments so let’s take a look at them separately. Ice cubes would require you to rub them on the problematic areas. This is due to the fact that the cold is going to reduce the inflammation and it’s going to close the pores, thus not allowing further impurities to get within them. Make sure to do this for a few minutes, without overdoing it. Lemons, on the other hand, contain beneficial acids which are going to eliminate the impurities from your pores. This is rather powerful, so make sure to mix the lemon juice with water.

Aloe – that’s likely to be one of the most elegant ways to handle your condition. It’s amongst these acne treatments which are both pleasant and effective. You can even apply it several times a day if you want to speed up the healing process. If you have a plant you can get the aloe as it is still fresh without adding any kinds of additional ingredients. However, if you don’t, you can simply get an organic gel.

In any case, as you can see for yourself, there are plenty of ways to get rid of acne problems without having to visit specialists or dermatologists. Of course, if you want and you can afford it, it’s always a great idea to get a professional opinion. But in any case, acne treatments are not something that requires thorough medical degree or dozens of years, worth of professional experience. This is a common condition and there are plenty of home-based treatments that you can take advantage of without having to spend thousands of dollars and hours of medical visitations and consults.
