The state of Uttarakhand is located in the northern part of India, more specifically, in the Himalayas. This state is divided into two parts namely, Garhwal and Kumaon and has a total of 13 districts. This state, also called Devbhumi has major rivers, nationally protected monuments, museums, forest reserves, national parks, hill stations and mountain peaks.
