It is very good to know the motivations of your team members. . Many times people sign up because it is free and they are curious. We can best help new recruits if we know their desires and fears. Most people do not have a fear of success; most people have a fear of the unknown. Here are my suggestions for helping your new recruits.
The first step to overcoming fear is to find out their desires and dreams for their life. You are very fortunate that you are engaging in a conversation. Here are some questions to ask:
1. Are they currently happy with their job?
2. Have they had their own business?
3. What would they like to be doing within 5 to 6 years?
4. Would they like to promote products online?
Let them know how to earn a living from their business.
• Bidding in auctions
• Playing trivia games.
• Finding new stores that would live to join the ecommerce program.
• Promoting products
• Promoting the business opportunity.
This business does not charge a membership fee but you are encouraged to invest in your business. You can wait until you feel comfortable.
Find out how much time he or she can dedicate to their business.
Talk about the various ways to promote SFI. It is best to only use one system and master that one system. Some examples are through social media or a personal blog. Trying to master more than one skill at a time can cost money and time.
Tell them that there is no need to ask their family or friends for help. There is no need to tell friends or family members about their business until he or she is ready. Family members or friends may be the least supportive because this is something new.
Do not take it personal if your new recruits become inactive. There may be reasons outside of your control. Keep sending them team newsletters and focus on your active team members.
