There is so much competition in the world today that you must truly stand out to your clients if you want to be successful. If your performance is not unforgettable you might as well stay at home because you are not getting paid. When you are at your job you owe it to yourself to give it your very best performance. Right before I would meet my clients I would clap my hands really hard and say to myself, “Show Time.” Clapping my hands would instantly change my mindset to think that I was on stage and my clients were my VIP audience. “Show time” meant that my only worry in the world was taking care of my clients needs so I could cater to their highest expectations. It got to the point where “Show Time” started for me the minute I would wake up. I immediately started my day by asking myself empowering questions. “What can I do to make myself successful today?” “What actions can I take that are going to make people want my product more? What can I do to serve my clients better?” I started thinking about my success as I was getting dressed. I would listen to my favorite music in my car so I could get fired up and focus on my day because I was going to get paid today. I visualized my every move from the moment I greeted my clients to the moment I was thanking them for doing business with me. The beauty of sales is that every client is a new chance to be successful. All you have to do is show your clients how your product is going to solve their problems and they will want to buy from you. Think about success, visualize your success, and most important believe in your success. Henry Ford said, “Whether you believe you can or whether you believe you can’t, you are right.” “Show Time” was so important in my sales career that no matter what was going on in my life I was able to clap my hands and say, “Show Time” and that was all it took to bring me to that peak performance state of mind. At that point it was all about taking care of my clients needs and making them want what I had for sale. Just think of yourself as a highly paid actor in Hollywood, your work is your stage, so you must own it. Don’t ever forget that in sales you can go from zero to hero in no time. It all comes down to taking care of business today. Now is the time to focus on todays opportunity to make yourself successful. Remember opportunity doesn’t go away, it just goes to someone else. Make every moment of your workday count as you strive to become the best. Take massive action to make your day better than ever by giving your clients an unforgettable performance. If Tiger Woods can raise his game when he has to then so can you. “Show Time.”

Things You Can Immediately Do To Make a Change
Attitude - Your attitude is critical. Control your thoughts to manifest the most desirable outcomes. Forget the past and only focus on the future. You are the master of your destiny. Never let a negative thought enter your head because it is impossible to feel bad when you have good thoughts. Be aware of your feelings, if you catch yourself getting slightly negative, change your thoughts immediately. Bad thoughts = bad feelings. Good thoughts = good feelings. Whether you believe you can or whether you believe you can’t you are right. Develop an unstoppable attitude because you can alter your life by altering your attitude. Your awesome attitude during tough times like this will instantly set you apart from everyone else.
Communication - The quality of your life depends on the quality of your communication with yourself and with others. Look for commonality with your clients so you can instantly build rapport with them. Rapport is the ultimate tool to build trust. Trust is the foundation to your sales. Communication is the key to life, the key to your future, and most importantly it is your catalyst for change. You must master the art of communication because it is the secret to good business as well as good relationships. 85% of success is your communication, 15% is technical knowledge. People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.

Constant and never ending improvement - What is your commitment to constant and never ending improvement? What are you doing daily to get better at your skills? Are you dedicating time daily to work on your sales delivery? I want you to dedicate at least an hour a day to reading or practicing a skill set. Live your life to get better by the day in every aspect of your life. Tiger Woods practices more then anyone in pro golf and that is why he is the best ever.

Know what your desired outcomes are - There is no such thing as failure, there are only outcomes. If you don’t get the outcome you are looking for then just change your approach. One of the biggest fears in peoples lives is the fear of failure. I want you to look at failure as a stepping stone and not a stumbling block. Win or learn there is no failure. Failure is just a chance to begin again more intelligently. Your ability to look at failure in a positive way will empower you to stretch your abilities to do things that you previously couldn’t do. There will be no limitations to what you can achieve because you will no longer be afraid of failing. Think big and dream bigger.

I know it is more challenging then ever to be successful in todays market so imagine how awesome you will feel when you are successful while everyone else is singing the blues. Change takes time but change starts the second you tell yourself that change must happen now. You can achieve whatever you believe if you put your mind to it. It all starts with your attitude and your outlook of the future. Power and control over your thoughts and actions will empower you to design your future to achieve the greatest outcomes of your life.
