How often have you doubted yourself? And how did it affect your life, work or business?

I can relate to this and until I learned to believe in myself and create a “success image” of myself, I was unable to neither use my full potential nor bring out the best in myself.

It may seem strange but some people are born with an unshakeable belief in themselves while others struggle in this area so much. The good news is, you can reprogram your mind and develop that definite belief in yourself step-by-step.

When you believe in yourself, and more importantly, in your strength and abilities, success comes inevitably. When you believe in yourself and see yourself already successful – being who you want to be, having what you want – you are creating the image of yourself that inspires and conditions you to take the actions needed to move closer to your goals.

If this does not come naturally to you and doubt often takes over, keep on reading because confidence and self-belief can be trained and expanded. Also, by doing so, your success and results correlate and amazing things will happen!

Super successful world-class entrepreneurs use techniques to develop an unshakeable self-belief and self-image.

One of the most powerful techniques is creating your winning image from the inside out. In a previous newsletter , I shared how to build your winning image and in the International bestselling book Imagine a Healthy You , I cite an excellent article about how Olympians are using imagery to improve their performance.

Let’s look at more guidance from the best, specifically how they accelerated developing an unshakeable self-belief and self-image:

Win in Your Mind First

The process of winning in the mind develops great courage to overcome any challenge. You’ll confidently find victory in daily small wins with grace and humor until the mission is accomplished (Mark Divine, founder of Unbeatable Mind).

Develop Competence

The brain needs to feel competent so it can trigger the confident exterior result. Get better at stuff. Build practical skills. Learn programming and public speaking. Get in the gym. Learn a sport like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. And get great at it (Tai Lopez, Investor & Advisor).

Magnify Your Unfair Advantage

It’s easy to be hard on yourself. But I haven’t met one person who doesn’t have an unfair advantage. To uncover your unfair advantage, take out the post-it notes, write down every win you’ve ever had in your life and put them on a wall.

Take stock of what you see. Put the top five to 10 accomplishments on your phone’s home screen. Look at yourself every morning and remember why you’re incredible: You’ve got the unfair advantage that can’t be replicated (Scott Oldford, founder of INFINITUS).

Focus on the Positive

Don’t get hung up on your failures. Learn from the lessons. Treat them as trials or practice runs in your quest for greatness.

The mind is powerful; it believes what you feed it. The more you focus on the positive, the better you’ll stay focused on your goals, perform and ignore the naysayers (Leyla Milani-Khoshbin, founder of Leyla Milani Hair®).

You can find more advice here and always remember, you can advance when you practice staying focused on your vision, your dream.
