Our Heavenly Father has given us “the great hope” through Our Lord Jesus Christ. It's referred-to by this descriptive term, "hope" because Jesus Christ our messiah, has done what Our Father in Heaven sent him for, to redeem men and women who are willing to accept his sacrifice of a torturous death and His shed Blood, on the cross of crucifixion. To quickly conjecture an important point, The Godhead or who we also call The Holy Trinity, consists of one God who manifests himself in three personalities. These are The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

God’s only begotten Son offered himself as the sacrificial “Lamb of God", with His blood satisfying the sin death penalty. He also gained salvation for us through “His resurrection” – being raised from the dead. This bought back, us who are willing to accept it, which we also refer to as redemption, payment for our being purchased back from the sin nature. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast.” - Ephesians 2:8-9

This gives us life everlasting in God's indescribably beautiful Kingdom - (1 Corinthians 2:9). A real place and not a “pie in the sky” dream or a place where we all float around on clouds forever, strumming harps. Heaven is even more real than the world we live in during our natural lifetimes. Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior, gives you inward comfort - "a peace that passes all understanding" - (Philippians 4:7). Fellowshipping in your relationship with God through prayer (the first prayer being to call upon His Name to save you). Afterward reading or hearing His Word continually, plus witnessing your faith to others, can provide true comfort during this natural lifetime, which at times can be fraught with numerous fears and unkind actions toward us by our fellow men and women.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." -(Matthew 11:28).

{PLEASE NOTE: I failed to state in more specific ways on the 26-minute audio [link at bottom-page], that Jesus after His being crucified on the cross, was placed in a tomb but raised again, three days later by glorious resurrection. My apologies for not stating this greatly important fact, more specifically.} I did mention Jesus now being at the right hand of The Heavenly Father, advocating and interceding for us. This is yet another fact from God’s Holy Word, that should give any Christian a reason to shout for joy, because he goes to bat for us so-to-speak. He points out to Our Father (also His), the good things we do in his name with the continual help and power of The Holy Spirit.

Author's Bio:

I am a graduate of Liberty University (1996) for completion of theological studies. Bible studies are one of my most-covered book-subjects. I am however, careful to only address those subjects I believe God has given me correct revelation on. I was a Christian Youth Minister, beginning in the 1980s for approximately 20 years (between youth ministries I served in other church capacities as well). I was also a guest speaker to churches, who invited me to present important Bible teachings to their evangelical congregations, during those same years. I am a redeemed man, who has received salvation by acceptance of Jesus Christ and what he did for me in shedding his blood and dying for me on the cross and in his resurrection from the dead, giving me the promise of eternal life, purely by grace (not due to anything I have done, other than to accept it freely).
