It will always be easier for us not to take responsibility and complain about our career in any way. And to them, taking on a more positive approach to the situation is way more challenging than it sounds like.

In reality, staying positive can be a tough challenge- at times harder than what you should be doing in your career. But in any line of work, it can make a huge difference in setting you up for a prospering future or drag you down to the depth of Tartaras' pit.

However, it is normal to feel negative from time to time. But what doesn't help is staying in that state for too long. Highly acclaimed model turned actress Desiree Popper has always said that without a positive mindset, she would have a hard time reaching the esteemed position where she stands today.

Popper started her career as a Brazilian model for many notable brands such as Nikon, L'Oreal, La Perla, Fendi, Miss Bikini, Puma, and Dolce & Gabbana. For someone who was meeting a lot of success in her modeling career, she felt that there was more to that and wanted to pursue her passion for acting.

However, jumping from one career to another is no easy feat. In fact, many people are too afraid to change jobs midway through their careers. And in a flourishing career like Poppers', many people don't even consider the idea of a job change. But she was determined to see things through to reach her ultimate goal- which, as she said, needed a lot of sheer will, motivation, and a whole barrel of positive emotions to make it work.

She started out by taking baby steps and build her acting skills from the ground up in an acting school, Academy of the Teatro Golden, in Rome. Once she had completed her training with the hope of achieving a successful acting future, she started looking for an ideal opportunity to seize in the entertainment industry.

In 2013, she debuted at a theatre in "La vita non si mai sa." Around the same time, she was being supervised by Augusto Fornari, who later that year selected her for a role in one of his renowned works, "L'arte della truffa." She continued her theatrical career and got her first leading role in 2014, in "Uomini separati manuale di sopravivenza" directed by another notable figure in the entertainment industry, Claudio Boccaccini.

In 2018, Popper finally got her chance at the big screen with her impactful role in "Restiamo Amici" directed by Antonello Grimaldi and in the same year landed a leading role in "Primi su ogni balloon" which is a short film made to celebrate the 60 years of the LDN. Her continued positive outlook within the industry made it possible for her to achieve quick success as a promising female actress in the entertainment industry.

Naturally, everyone struggles to work under the influence of a stressful environment and pushing through with a positive outlook on the progress. But it is extremely worth it in the long run because devoted persistence and complete positivity are one the major ways you can achieve a successful and satisfying career no matter which industry you work in.
