Life does not come with an instruction manual. There are many challenges in life that we just have to figure out solutions to as we go along. So do you think that you can get past these challenges? Of course you can!

Determining what you can or can't do based on your "thoughts" or based on the "good opinion of others" is one of life's fatal mistakes. A challenge isn't a problem, it's an opportunity to excel and move forward. There are many reasons why the children's book "The Little Engine that Could" is so popular; I think I can, I think I can!

When tackling challenges, do you just get stressed out and have a sense of feeling aggravated? Our attitudes going in can make all the difference in the world when it comes to producing favorable outcomes. Anyone can learn to become in control of their attitudes. You are what you think. It is possible to develop the eye of an optimist.

Seeing your challenges as opportunities will help you make it through with flying colors.

Sometimes it is important to re-phrase the way a challenge is presented to be able to effectively deal with the challenge. One cannot solve a problem using the same actions that created the problem in the first place. Sometimes one needs to step back at look at the challenge from a different perspective; with another set of eyes so to speak. Gaining a new perspective on the challenge may actually excite you when you can see a solution.

The Size of the Challenge Is Irrelevant

Challenges come in all shapes and sizes. Be it a job loss, health issues, or something entirely different one can not approach a solution by running away from it. Sometimes we all need to just get a little Zen about things and realize that no matter what happens, the sun will rise tomorrow. If you look for the good things, you're going to find them; they're hiding in plain sight, just waiting to be discovered!

When confronted with a loss, it is important to allow some time for getting through the grieving process, but one cannot grieve forever. It is said that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Buck up, set the past aside, and move on. People who don't look where they are going are prone to trip, stumble, and fall, so avoid looking backwards, because you can't possibly move forward if you're fixated on what's behind you.

There is tremendous power in the use of visualization. Envision yourself happy, healthy, with a great job and a wonderful family, whatever it is that you think that you need. There are baby-steps you can take to move in the direction of having what you want. Patience is a virtue so even if it seems like it is taking a long time, just think of how long it would take if you never got started in the first place. Make a plan for your challenge, even if you start out slow, and avoid letting setbacks get you down. Everyone has them.

The Critical Key to Conquering Your Challenges

Just as you can get through any size challenge, you can also get through any type of challenge. Successful people have the key that unlocks the door of opportunity and the door to their dreams. Understanding that they can't eat an elephant all in one bite they avoid looking at how overwhelming everything could be and focus on eating the elephant one bite at a time. They avoid looking at how big or difficult their challenge is. Instead, they look at how big their faith is, and that can be faith in God, some other Higher Power, or simply faith in themselves and their abilities.

If you look at what you can do, instead of what's coming against you, you can accomplish great things with what you have available. Remember that people don't plan to fail, they just fail to plan. Take your challenges of the day and divide and conquer.

Make a list of your challenges. Divide them up and pick one that looks like it might be the easiest to undertake and successfully complete. Stick to this smaller challenge pushing out all other distractions until you have completed this task. Then use your plan to conquer those remaining challenges one at a time.

They say that the only two things that are guaranteed in life are death and taxes. Add one more thing to the list; challenges! You are going to face challenges in your life, period; paragraph. Whether they get you down or build you up will be determined by how you see them. You can't choose your challenges, in most cases, but you can always choose how you react to them, and that can make all the difference in the world.
