What someone may see, if they were able to step back and reflect on their life, is that they rarely reveal themselves. This is going to mean that their true self, so their needs and feelings, will typically be covered up.

When they are around others, then, they are largely going to put on an act, and, if they are not hiding around others, they could be hiding away from others. Either way, it is going to be the exception as opposed to the rule for who they are to see the light of day.

It’s Automatic

They could see that when they hide around others, this is not something that they consciously chose to do. Instead, they could find that this is something that just happens without them needing to think about doing so.

This could be a time when they will come across as easy-going, needless and happy to be there for others. Most likely, they won’t have the need to be the centre of attention and will probably fade into the background in a lot of cases.

A Different Experience

When they are by themselves, on the other hand, they could be connected to their needs and feelings. Or at the very least, they could be connected to some of their needs and feelings.

Therefore, by being away from the eyes of others, they won’t feel the need to be someone who they are not. Thanks to this, this can be a time when they feel greatly relieved and are able to relax.

The Downside

After a while, though, they could end up feeling deeply alone and end up doing what they can to change how they feel. This is something that could take place by them watching or consuming something.

But, as this won’t last, it won’t be long until they come into contact with this feeling and other painful feelings. Naturally, as they typically play a role around others, it won’t be possible for them to connect with most of the people who they come into contact with.

A Wall

For them to truly connect to another person, they will need to be in touch with and express their true self. If their true self is hidden underneath their false self, they will only be able to experience a surface level connection.

At times, this might take the edge off the loneliness that they experience but it won’t do much else. So, although there are billions of people on the planet, it will generally be as if they are the only ones here.

Suffering In silence

With this in mind, it will be essential for them to reach out for external support so that they can change their life. Nonetheless, due to the nature of what they are going through, it is not going to be a surprise if they experience resistance.

What they need to do will then be the very thing that they feel a strong need to not do. By hiding themselves, they are likely to have suffered in so many ways throughout their life.

For Example

In addition to feeling lonely, they may have had so many jobs that were not fulfilling and been in numerous relationships that were no better. Ultimately, being this way will have prevented them from being able to truly expand into their own magnificence.

They could look back on their life and wonder what they have been doing as they won’t have been able to truly embrace life. What could enter their mind is that they have typically just survived.

A Closer Look

If they were to imagine that they live a life where they freely express themselves, they might feel good and greatly relieved. But, as time passes, they could end up experiencing a fair amount of anxiety and fear.

During this time, they could fear that they will be rejected and abandoned and that their life will end up coming to an end. In order for them to be on the inside, so to speak, and not be ostracised, they will need to hide themselves.

Confusion

From this, it will be clear they believe that there is something inherently wrong with them. And, as they are bad and worthless, they can’t reveal themselves and still be accepted by their fellow human beings.

The false self that allows them to hide who they are will then be essential to their survival; it will be like a mask that allows them to hide a face that is socially unacceptable. At this point, they might wonder what is going on and why they are this way.

Going Deeper

This could show that their early years were not very nurturing and that their time in their mother’s womb was not much better. How they are as an adult is then going to be a consequence of what their formative years were like.

Then again, it could go back even further than this, with what took in their last or a previous life having the biggest impact on them. This may have been a time when they were ostracised from society or a tribe for something that they had done or were accused of doing.

A Continuation

What this will illustrate is that what they experienced during their formative years had a lot in common with what they had experienced before. It could be said that what happened before played a part in why they ended up incarnating into the family that they had.

They were then not being mistreated during this time because they were inherently bad and worthless; it was because they were carrying a level of consciousness that lead to them having a very similar experience to the one they had before. What is not resolved in one life is then carried over into the next.

Awareness

If someone can relate to this and they are ready to change their life, they may need to reach out for eternal support. This is something that can be provided with the assistance of a therapist or healer.
