I wonder what you, dear readers out there, do to cure heartbreak?

Heartbreak can feel like devastation. Writing and journaling are good ways to turn something sad into a creative outlet and maybe through the process, I can help someone heal from this horrible thing called heartbreak. You know the feeling - it feels like a deep hole in your heart, a grief, a loss. Even so heavy a grief that it's hard to sleep or concentrate. I asked Spirit to give me more ideas on how to heal heartbreak.

One technique I love is derived from TAT (Tapas Acupressure Technique), I feel called by Spirit to share an abbreviated version of it with you, so you can use it for your own times of heartbreak:

TAT uses acupressure techniques to clear distressing emotions and blocks. Tapas Fleming, the creator of this tool, says "I don't belieive TAT itself does the healing... I believe it is Divine Love or the natural energy of life that does the healing". See: www.tatlife.com for more info on TAT.

First: Affirm silently to yourself that you are allowing this problem to be healed in all parts of your body-mind-spirit: In other words, giving yourself permission to be kind to yourself.

Then touch the TAT acu-points by taking one hand and lightly touching the tip of the thumb to the inner corner of the bridge of the nose and the ring finger (fourth) to the other side of the bridge of the nose. Place the middle finger to the middle of the forehead (third eye point). Take your other hand and place it on the back of the head behind the eyes, cradling the base of your skull.

While holding these points for a few minutes, think of the problem (i.e. heartbreak, grief) that is troubling you. Notice what comes up?

Then, while still holding the points, focus your attention on asking your subconscious mind and the universe to heal and clear all aspects of this problem from your life. Again, notice what arises? Hold the points for a few minutes until you feel a shift in the energy. You may need to do this process several times or for several days, as layers of related issues arise. The points are very calming and help facilitate the movement of your life energy throughout your body.
