You know that you should be exercising, you know how good it is for you, you know how much better you feel when you do it. WHY CAN'T YOU JUST DO IT!!

How many times have you stuck to an exercise program for a few weeks or maybe even a few months and just started to really feel and see the results and then you stop? It sounds crazy doesn't it? We do things that are good for us just to sabotage ourselves just when we begin to really see results. WHY CAN'T YOU JUST STICK TO IT!!

I will tell you why. It's all because of our need to stay in the zone. The comfort zone that is. We formed our comfort zone as a child usually between the ages of 0 and 8 years old. This is where we learned all of our behaviors and the behaviors of our parents and the other people around us. If you were raised in a family where exercise was a top priority than it is probably a priority in your life now because it was a habit that you were taught very early on.

Unfortunately though for many of us exercise was in the form of playing and running and jumping and bike riding and school team sports (As long as we kept our grades up). All of these things are things that we were told to enjoy it now because when you grow up we don't play anymore and our playful activities were slowly replaced with adult responsibilities. Our subconscious was conditioned that it was time to grow up and we replaced those childhood activities with adult activities. Since we learned activities from our parents like studying, doing chores, working and paying bills, we were made to see that these activities are the priorities in your life now instead of playing. For example, some of us replaced team sports with working as part of a team in our jobs because that is more responsible.

It's hard to wrap our heads around the fact that it is O.K. to play as adults. So now we either associate exercise as work, or if we do associate it as something pleasurable it is only to be done after all the responsibilities are taken care of. We have been conditioned to feel guilty about the time we take away from our responsibilities to do something pleasurable.

Hypnosis can help your subconscious to accept that it is O.K. for you to play again. Through the law of association and the law of repetition you can re- condition your subconscious back to that childhood freedom of play. We just have to find those activities that your subconscious mind can accept. You can actually feel like a child again and exercise without guilt and enjoy it again like you used to. Let Hypnosis have a talk with your subconscious about learning how to take care of yourself now in this time of your life when you need it most.
