According to Ayurveda, ovary disease is caused by problems in rasa and raktadhatus. When there is an excess accumulation of toxins and impurities in rasa and raktdhatus, the body keeps them in form of cysts in ovaries. In Ayurveda, an ovarian cyst containing a fluid is considered as kaphajagranthi.
