A sitz bath is another great way which helps in the process of treating hemorrhoids. Its main purpose is to relieve discomfort and pain in the lower part of the body. It is a bath which requires the person suffering from hemorrhoid to sit in warm or cold water for about 15 minutes several times a week to get relief from pain and swelling in the rectal area.

3. Make a mixture of almond oil and geranium oil.

Mix the same quantity of the two oils in a bowl (enough to be used at any other time) and apply to the affected hemorrhoids with your fingertips. Your anal area will be cool and free from itch as long as u utilizes this mixture. It also helps to pass stool easily without having to strain too much.

4. Lemon juice.

Lemon is also considered as an effective natural remedy for hemorrhoids. Recognized for its powerful healing properties, lemon juice has the ability to strengthen blood vessels and the capillary tubes. This remedy should be taken orally and not to be applied topically like the above. Cut a lemon (without removing the skin) into four parts and let boil for 15 minutes in ½ Lt of water. Let it cool before consuming. Drinking a cup of this lemon juice once a day will help you passing stool smoothly.
