We hear that events are a big part of network marketing. The problem is that most distributors only get hyped up at events, only to go out and make more sales for their company. Ultimately the distributor becomes disillusioned while their company benefits the most.
Here are 3 ways that you can use events to have more success in your MLM.
1.Network- This is a prime time to network with not only other distributors, but also the leaders in your business. The key to networking successfully boils down to basic people skills. Listen more than you talk, and show interest in others first.
People will begin to know who you are.
2. Take Pictures- Bring a camera so you can take pictures with the leaders in your company. Also take pictures of you and other distributors enjoying the event. Then share these pictures with your friends once you return home.
3. Cash Flow- Keep track of your expenses during this trip. This includes your hotel, food, travel, and basically everything. These business expenses are all tax deductible.
Develop a budget before you go, and stay within your budget. Cash flow is the most important thing in any business. If you are not making much money in your business, do not go on a spending spree at these events.
Stay focused until you accomplish the primary goal of any business. Earn more money than you spend. That means you have a positive business cash flow.
Definitely use the excitement of the event to build momentum, but be careful not to become a glorified sales rep.
